Hello, again! I’m back to coloring today and this time it’s all done with dies. I buy these large dies and then I hardly get around to using them because I’m always wanting to color something, so today I watercolored the die cut. This Rose Bouquet die is new to me, from a 75% off all Die-namites sale at Dies R Us recently. How could I not take advantage of that? Amazing how many dies you can pick up for a very small cost at such a discount.
I put a soft watercolor blend on the background and added glitter to the rosebuds. The sentiment is from the Power Poppy Short Stacks clear stamp set. It’s a perfect fit in the ribbon banner!
I’ll keep this short today and put the details in the recipe below. I’ll return on Wednesday with a new Double D challenge. Hope to see you then!
Stamps: Power Poppy Short Stacks sentiment Paper: 140 lb hot press watercolor, tan Hero Arts pre-cut card base, Neenah 110 lb white layered under die cut to add dimension Ink: Palette Noir (sentiment), Tombow markers for watercoloring die cut, SU! Pool Party and So Saffron for soft watercolor background Accessories: Stickles Stardust glitter, pearl, Die-namites Rose Bouquet, Spellbinders A2 Devine Eleoquence, Labels Twenty Eight, Ribbon Banners, Scotch brand foam mounting tape
Such a bright and happy card my friend. Hope your week is a good one!

Wow, another gorgeous creation! The way you have watercoloured the die cut flowers is so pretty. I love the A2 Devine Eleoquence die (one of my favs) and how you used the ribbon banner along the top, it fits perfectly. So, so pretty - big sigh! Always love when you create, keep them coming. Have a wonderful day Leslie!

Gorgeous, those were some great deals that's for sure and I just love how you colored this beauty up, and such pretty framing of it all too, the glow behind them is such a pretty touch and sets it all off so nicely!

Those dies are so pretty with the little bit of water color. Very pretty, Leslie. (If this post, I will be working my way back to leave more comments. I saw a lot of pretties).

Beautiful...how did I not see this die...the little bit of 'sparkle' on the flowers adds so much (of course you know I love glitter)...what a terrific sale you hit! Hope all is going well and you are enjoying your first summer of retirement!!

Oh, my, Leslie! I LOVE this card with mostly dies, and I love the rose bouquet and how you've colored it! It's GORGEOUS! I so love this fancy frame die - definitely one of my favorites, and what a beautiful sentiment up in the ribbon banner die. Stunning card (and I do believe you've enabled me - ha!). Hugs! xoxo
