Ready for more Power Poppy pretty? Today we’re sharing My English Rose.
This one’s full of sentiments plus two gorgeous rose images. I’ve always loved this Elliston quote so I chose to feature it in an oval window with the rose underlining it. A single stem peach rose for gratitude. My rose is a very deep peach, more coral perhaps, so we’ll say this expresses deep gratitude.
I slipped a dainty fence die cut in there to help frame the sentiment. Sweet! I remembered to photograph the Copics, too:
Here’s the gals showcasing My English Rose today:
The recipe below will sum up ingredients used. Have a happy day!
Stamps: My English Rose Paper: X-Press it Blending Card (rose), Neenah Classic Crest Solar White (sentiment panel), pale peach (fence), Bo Bunny The Avenues Collection designer paper Ink: Brown (image outline), Versafine Onyx Black (sentiment), Copics as pictured above Accessories: Spellbinders Standard Ovals Small, Memory Box Rounded Fence, Scotch brand foam mounting tape
Leslie... oh my goodness... how utterly beautiful. I too love that sentiment and I like that you gave it center stage on the card but I think that your stunning rose is trying to steal the show. How very beautiful. Cheers.

Gorgeous, wonderful colors in your coloring and I like how you added the fence inside the diecut oval. The pretty bird on the paper is so pretty with it all, terrific design!!

Oh, Leslie, this is gorgeous! Your color is so exquisitely colored that it really captured my eye first! I clicked on it to see a close-up, and WOW! Stellar coloring. And what a beautiful sentiment to showcase with this rose and the lovely DP, stitching, and that sweet fence that I eyed before I read it - a sweet touch! Beautifully done, sweet friend, and I am so glad this set made it into the clear collection! I know it will be a delight to have! Warm hugs!
