Happy Friday, friends! Today begins a new challenge for the month of November at Power Poppy and I think you’ll like it. Our gal Kathy has challenged everyone to pull out those fun ribbons, flowers, gems, sequins, buttons, whatever and pretty up your cards. Don’t we all love the sound of that? Play along and you might win a Power Poppy stamp set. See more details on the Power Poppy Blog here.
I’ve been making a real effort lately to keep most of my cards easy to mail with one postage stamp, especially the Christmas cards, but there’s no reason I can’t embellish. Today I’ve used the new Cozy Cupfuls set and embellished with die cut poinsettias and a single band of ribbon.
The tag and glitter and the snowflake embossed panel also help add dimension and texture, even though we wouldn’t technically call those embellishments.
A tree in a tea cup is pretty darn cute, isn’t it? Those must be some tiny ornaments. I colored with Copic markers on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White.
I’m eager to see all the embellished beauties my Bloom Brigade teamies are sharing today. Let’s have a look:
Enjoy! Oh, and please see my other post today, too. It’s cute and you might get a smile. Thanks so much!

Leslie, what a beautiful card! I love the traditional Christmas colors and that gorgeous DP up at the top - yum! And, oh, your embellishments are wonderful. I love those small poinsettias with the ribbon at the top, and the embossed background adds a nice touch of texture. Beautifully colored image, and it reminds me to get going on my own Christmas cards - hehe! Hugs!

Oh my just lovely, has that vintage feel to the cup, so pretty and love your embellishing, I almost bought those flowers when I was at my scrap book store the other day but decided against them, now I wish I had they look great on your card!

What a beautiful card Leslie! Love everything about this - embossed background, beautiful colouring, that bit of dp fits so well with your image, and those little poinsettias - love them - they are such the perfect size aren't' they?, and then of course your cute little tag. Your colouring always makes me want to go colour, but first I need to finish my DD cards for this comming weekend! Then I can work on more christmas cards. I can't believe this is my last month as a DD gal - 6 months have flown by. Thanks for sharing Leslie, your work is always inspiring!

I absolutely love this stamp set; it is on my wish list!! What a beautiful traditional card in my favorite Christmas colors...I love the tag and the poinsettia embellishments! Such a creative layout for a smaller stamped image! And very smart to keep it to one postage stamp!!
