This sweet little Bassett puppy sure looks like he’s lonely for someone and that’s why I thought he’d pair up nicely with the sentiment. Both are from QKR Stampede for this week’s challenge – #153 Use Die Cuts.
I find him so adorable and would love to wrap him up in a big hug, but, of course, he’s just paper and would get all crumply. He’s a digi stamp called Sad Puppy. The sentiment is a digi as well, called – Been Thinkin’. All QKR digital images can be found in unmounted rubber, as well. Type the names in the search field at QKR and both digi and rubber will come up for you.
I colored my Sad Puppy with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits). The blue shading around him was done with soft chalks.
Precious. But, of course, I’m a dog lover. Hmmm. . . speaking of. . . I know a couple of golden doggies who won’t crumple when I hug them. Think I’ll go do that. Have a good day!

Ah, so sweet, he does look sad, but hugable! Wonderful composition, great papers, fabulous colouring, and love that bit of grass poking out behind the sentiment - you think of everything!

Looks like he REALLY misses someone. Dogs have such expressive eyes and you've really captured that. Love that paper too. So cute, Leslie.
