This week at QKR Stampede we’re all making cards “For a Child”. That’s our challenge and we hope you’ll play along and maybe win some of these cute stamps for yourself. I used 12404 Rocket Dog today, and I love him! Long before this challenge came about I had him picked out ‘cause I knew he’d be fun to color. And, of course, you know how I love dogs. There is so much life and character in all of the QKR images and when I spend time coloring any of them, it’s a real pick me up.
So, here he is, all colored up with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits). I’m a novice with pencils and Gamsol, but I’m learning to love it a lot, and there will be more pencil coloring in my future.
I used a QKR sentiment, too. 12108 Out of this World. I mean, how could I not use this sentiment with this image?
You probably noticed the "USA” and the red, white, and blue, and all the stars. . . just want to say ***Happy 4th of July (tomorrow)*** to all my fellow Americans. Have a safe and fun holiday weekend. And a happy weekend to everyone everywhere else, as well!
Oh my I just love him, that is too fun, you are doing a wonderful job with those pencils, you are quite the artist.. I love your little stars paper and the added stars too, Happy 4th!!

So cute! This guy looks like he's having an awful lot of fun on that rocket. :) I like the die-cut stars you added in the top corner.
Hope you had a good Fourth holiday weekend. I know I truly appreciated having off three days in a row. Sheesh, this full time job thing is hard work. LOL
