Fans of Power Poppy digital stamps will be delighted to know Marcella has added another absolutely lovely image to her growing collection. This one is Ranunculus and comes complete with the “Sending peace” sentiment. What a nice idea – to send peace.
My first inclination was to print this quite large and make a very simple card, but then I wouldn’t be able to play with the card design, and I did want to take this opportunity to remind you of our current “Hang Some Paper” challenge on the Power Poppy Blog – use at least three different patterns or colors of designer paper on your card. I pieced this together with scraps from a 6 x 6 pad I’m trying to finish off, and ended up with four patterns.
My Copic coloring was done with a mix of peaches and pinks with R14 for the deepest shading. Gorgeous results with this image and easier than it looks. This flower comes in some jaw-dropping colors and I’d love to give it another go when time allows. Pictured below are the colors I used on both the flowers and the framing:
Thank you so much for joining me today. Now I’d like to invite you to have a look at more Ranunculus by my Bloomie sisters:
Once again I have two posts today, so scroll down for more if you’re of a mind. Have a fabulous day!

Gorgeously colored, Leslie! The shading is really wonderful. Speaking of flowers, how is your garden managing in the drought? Counting down the days with you...

Oh, Leslie, you've really colored these beautifully, and I love the designer papers you've used! You always have been great with them (I remember the days of Ruby Tuesdays was it?)...now that's a while ago! But truly, I love your layout and how you've used the Copics for your borders on the dies too! And the buttons are a perfect embellishment! Another stunning card, and I do love these beauties! Hugs, sweet friend!

What a beautiful image! This is a fascinating flower; I bought some this spring to use in still life photography. Love how you've combined your image with the designer paper...and the layout is beautiful. (Thank you for all your visits to my infrequent card posts!)

Once again you have colored your flowers so beautifully that they look like you picked them & laid them on your card! And I LOVE the papers you chose! I have a thing for patterned paper and would have grabbed all of these, especially the very bottom floral! Gorgeous!!

Leslie, you've always been able to hang paper. I really admire that and I study your cards, wishing some of that talent would rub off thru the internet. :)
I count 6 pieces of paper, twine, 2 buttons, ribbon, 3 dies, a very pretty flower bouquet, and a sentiment.
So pretty and I am still studying.
