We certainly are seeing plenty of Christmas cards this month, aren’t we? You know, I always wondered why Christmas in July was made so much of. It wasn’t until recently that I realized it’s because July is the halfway mark. Time does race wildly on, doesn’t it? Well, I’m jumping into the spirit of things with a Christmas card today. After all, I really wanted to share a sample made with Marcella’s new Hollyberries digital stamp set.
And look what else Power Poppy has for you today:
Yes, today’s digi set, Hollyberries, is on sale for only $3, and the entire Happiest Holiday Collection is 20% off – a one day sale, so now’s the time to hurry on over if you’ve been wanting one of those fabulous sets.
I made my card a simple design and kept it an easy mailer. I colored with Copic markers and added Viva Décor Glass Effect Gel to the berries. The designer paper is Graphic 45 ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Drop in on these Bloomies for a peek at what they’re sharing today:
Thanks so much! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I’ll see you again on Monday!
I couldn't wait to see your design for this new digi - I love it! Very festive, love that you allowed the holly to hang outside the box, and it just pops against the red background, and the holly in the top corner just balances this out. I haven't even started to think about Christmas cards, so many other cards to make. Thanks for sharing, you always inspire me.

Oh, Leslie, what a gorgeous card with a great layout! I love the hollyberries out of the square and your fussy cutting, and what beautiful coloring! And what great DP with the perfect stitching. I love it, especially since it's so mailable. Yes, I found myself inspired about making Christmas cards and just love this image. Beautifully, done! Hugs!

The way you've colored the holly, gives them a glossy appearance. I just love this card. Someday I want to stitch like you. :)

Great card Leslie, especially the touch to add Gel effects to the berries for a glistening look ;)
Thanks for the inspiration, as ever - I'm trying to make a few Christmas cards all year long this year (not just starting in July!), but mojo has been a bit lacking this past few weeks! Rx
