Hello, friends! Are you having a good week so far? I hope so! It’s only Tuesday, but it’s my first “Friday” of the week since I don’t work Wednesdays. I feel so fortunate to have that mid-week breather – a little time for this and that, and maybe some stamping thrown in for good measure. I’m trying to teach myself to color more quickly and I hope it’s not too apparent, but I’ve seriously got to catch up with my acquisitions and aspirations. Today I’m sharing a card made with a stamp I bought for Valentines. . . you can see how far behind I am. Since I missed Valentine’s Day I went with non-Valentine colors. This is Wild Rose Studio’s Bella With Bouquet, and her matching Wild Rose Studio Bella designer paper.
Bella is sugar and spice and everything nice and she’ll be sent to one of my friend’s little granddaughters. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic markers:
I added faint stripes to the box with one of the BV markers. Little dots of glitter are sprinkled around the image and over the punched flower. The resin flower center was made by covering a 1/4” punched yellow circle with Viva Décor Glass Effect Gel. The loopy die cut under the flower is turning out to be one of my most useful recent purchases. It’s a bow die by Impression Obsession (no exact name on the package). It has curly tails which are cute, but I almost always cut them off.
May the rest of the week treat you well. I’ll see you again on Friday!
Stamps: Wild Rose Studio Bella With Bouquet Paper: X-Press It Blending Card, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Memory Box Wisteria cardstock, Wild Rose Studio Bella designer paper Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers as pictured above Accessories: Stickles Stardust glitter glue, Viva Décor Glass Effect Gel, Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder, Stampin’ Up! flower punches (retired), 1/4” circle punch, Impression Obsession bow die (tails cut off), Scotch brand foam mounting tape
beautiful job. love the stripes on the box. so clever. pretty soon you won't know what day of the week it is!!

Oh my that is just the most adorable little guy ever, your coloring is just amazing, so sweet, I love this for a birthday card too, like when our stamps can be for more than one occasion. The papers are a great compliment and I do love that die behind the flower, gives it that extra something, sweet touches of glitter too, she is just going to adore this card!

Nice save! (non-Valentine colors) I love these little stamps at Wild Rose Studio! That Bella is precious who can resist a little elephant with big floppy ears!

I love this card, it is so sweet! My daughter is 30+ and she would still like the little elephant. This definitely does not look like a fast colored or fast put together card to me!

How precious, Leslie! I especially like the 'stripes' you made on the box with the markers. :)
Enjoy your midweek breather tomorrow. Lucky duck!
I'm visiting you on my lunch hour. :)

Leslie, you never cease to amaze me with your beautiful talent and coloring. This is such a sweet card, I'm sure your friend's grand daughter will love it. I'm with you on the day off in the middle of the week; my date is Tuesday. Even with working part time, about 20 hours a week, I still look forward to Sept when I hope to fully retire. At least from banking anyway. Maybe I can work at my Vet's office...working with animals would be so much better than people. :-) (big grin here). Hugs my beautiful friend.

Oh, Leslie, this is just sweetness in every way! This darling little Bella is adorable and so beautifully colored! And the papers are beautiful and coordinate so well with your exquisite coloring! Yes, good for you that you are striving to color faster...I'm trying that myself. Feeling a little freer...after all, we can re-stamp the image and try again...hehe! Totally darling, and I know your friends granddaughter will love and cherish it! Sweet little flower and bow!! Hugs!

This is beyond cute and off the scale on the cuteness chart! Love your coloring, and the paper choice. I may have to add this stamp to my collection!

Gorgeous! I love everything about it. Your fabulous creations always inspire me. Such a cute image and fabulous color combo. I'm jealous although I only work 4 days this week since I took off yesterday after returning from a quick trip to Utah and California.
