Hello to you on this late November Monday! Don’t be too shocked, but I have something other than a Christmas card to share today. Every now and then I scroll through my Digital Two for Tuesday files and mostly all I do is look and admire, but this time I chose one to print and color. Of the hundreds of fabulous free digis I’ve saved from Cora’s site, why did I choose this one? Well, I don’t know, other than that it was too difficult to decide so I just grabbed one. I don’t color people images very often, but there’s something about these vintage kids that appeals to me. You can find this and another adorable image here.
I used last week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch 245 for the card design. I made the card when the sketch was current, but didn’t get around to photographing it in time. This seems to be my usual way, but I absolutely love playing with a sketch, so in the future I’ll probably be using some of the older sketches I’ve saved. I added Stampin’ Up!’s Cheesecloth background in Sage Shadow ink on the same color cardstock and then stamped the sentiment over that in Versamark ink and embossed with vanilla embossing powder.
As I was scrolling through the Digital Two for Tuesday blog looking for this image to link to I kept finding more and more that I think I may not have saved. She has so many amazing treasures! Have a lovely day!

I love this card for the retro children that so remind me of girl's annuals way back in my childhood. The colours, muted and perfect for the vintage image and the added little embellishments that just make it altogether perfect. xx

the vintage twins are so sweet. It reminds me of the 20s - photos I have seen of my grandmother and her friends. Gosh, pretty soon we will not be able to say "the 20s" and have people know what era we meant! Thank you for sharing your adorable card, Leslie! hugs, de
