Hello, friends! Friday has rolled around again and with it comes Peep of the Week Challenge time at Power Poppy. I’m playing along today with two favorite sets – Poinsettia (the stocking and sentiment) and Merry Littles (the two red Poinsettias). Plaid has a way of making a Christmas card look warm and cozy, doesn’t it?
The stamping was done with Memento Tuxedo Black on X-Press It Blending card and the images colored with the following Copic markers:
The sentiment and brick wall embossing are on vanilla cardstock. Before embossing the brick wall I inked up the inside front of the embossing folder with Memento Toffee Crunch to add some shading to the debossed areas. Now I feel like sitting by the fire with a cup of cocoa and some Christmas carols!
We’re fast approaching the time to start getting the cards in the mail, and the closer we get it seems the more I feel like making Christmas cards. Aren’t we lucky to have this craft to enjoy at a time like this? I think so!
Have a little look around at more Power Poppy goodness and enjoy the inspiration:
See you soon!
