Hello, and happy first day of November! It’s also the day the new Power Poppy holiday stamps are available in the store. You can see the entire Happiest Holiday Collection here.
Today I’m sharing a card made with the new O Holy Night. You know how I love to color, but I left this card particularly simple so you can see how truly easy it is to make something lovely with this stamp set. My frame of mind at the time I created this card called for something whispery soft and peaceful. I think this muted aqua/sage is my new favorite color for Christmas and I wish I had more of it. The ink colors are retired Stampin’ Up! -- Sage Shadow for the church scene, and Handsome Hunter for the sentiment.
Ordinarily I would make my main image more pronounced, but not this time. One can imagine the quiet snowy night even with this mere shadow of an image. The beautifully scripted words, delicate and bold at once, give reverent pause to your thoughts.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this month’s Power Poppy release as I have. Now go forth and hop:
Thank you so much for your time!

Such a gorgeous image. I love the colors, and I think I still have some of that left in my stash. Love the bold look of the sentiment against the peaceful background. Nice touch with the silver cord wrapped around your bow.

Leslie you indeed captured the feeling of this card being whispery soft and peaceful. I love when you colour, but this one rates right up there with the others. Beautiful colour tones (I too have some of this paper :) ), with the deep rich sentiment - just gorgeous!

A stunning scene, reminds me of our Christmas Eve here when we head out in the cold and snow for candlelight service. A very peaceful scene, makes one think!! Love the addition of the silver cord/ribbon, just adds a most perfect touch contrast!!
