Happiest Holiday Part Two Release Day!

 

Hello, and happy first day of November!  It’s also the day the new Power Poppy holiday stamps are available in the store.  You can see the entire Happiest Holiday Collection here.

 

 

Today I’m sharing a card made with the new O Holy Night.  You know how I love to color, but I left this card particularly simple so you can see how truly easy it is to make something lovely with this stamp set.  My frame of mind at the time I created this card called for something whispery soft and peaceful.  I think this muted aqua/sage is my new favorite color for Christmas and I wish I had more of it.  The ink colors are retired Stampin’ Up! -- Sage Shadow for the church scene, and Handsome Hunter for the sentiment.

 

 

Ordinarily I would make my main image more pronounced, but not this time.  One can imagine the quiet snowy night even with this mere shadow of an image.  The beautifully scripted words, delicate and bold at once, give reverent pause to your thoughts.
