Hi, there! Just popping in with a quick share today. I make Halloween cards for the same four kids every year and I’ve pretty much run the gamut of my available stamps and digis. However, my stamper friend, Sue, shared these House Mouse images with me which helped to get me through another year. Thanks, Sue! The children range in ages from 3 to 8 years. These cards will probably be for the younger ones.
The first is called Little Punkin’.
The next image is called Witch Way to the Candy.
I used Halloween papers left over from last year and I’m not sure what they’re called seeing as how I bought a few coordinating 12 x 12 sheets and the name has since been cut off. Coloring was done with Copic markers and I added Stardust Stickles glitter in spots around the first image, and to the stars on the second. The purple robe and hat were colored over with Wink of Stella which gives a nice shimmer when seen in real life.
I’m out of time so I’ll leave you with the recipe and a wish for a wonderful day!
Stamps: House Mouse Little Punkin’ and Witch Way to the Candy, Hero Arts sentiment on first card, Whipper Snapper sentiment on second card Paper: Memory Box Lavender and Chartreuse, SU! Lovely Lilac and Basic Black, X-Press It Blending Card (I think) Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers for coloring Accessories: Ribbon, Stickles Stardust glitter, tag punch, Spellbinders flag dies, MFT Die-namics star dies, Scotch brand foam mounting tape
I've always been in love with the House Mouse line of stamps and have several of my own. These are both such cute cards!

Awwww so adorable these mice are. I have a whole slue of these stamps, and tons of images stamped off. (a few years ago a few of my friends from Michigan would come over for a weekend, and we would stamp off images each of us had - would save each of us having to buy the stamps - I have so many not even coloured - just no time!). You definitely have done a wonderful job on these Leslie, great layouts, wonderful colouring, and a great eye for detail. Your 'small friends' will be thrilled to receive these, so thoughtful! Thanks for the 'smile' first thing this morning, have wonderful day.

Oh, my, Leslie, these are darling! I just love House Mouse images, and these are the cutest! I love the little fat punkin!! Just makes me smile! And what fun colors and beautiful coloring! Your stitching really makes for a lovely card (on both of them). And the other image is cute too and must be ever cuter with the Wink of Stella. The sentiment on that card is funny! LOL! Never heard that one before...like it! How sweet to make these darling cards for the little ones, who truly will love them! Hugs, sweet friend!

I'd be willing to be that the kids just wait more for their cards each year than they do for the candy! These are just awesome cards! I love them both! You can't help but smile at the mice & your gorgeous designs just make them extra special! I think your stitching just adds the cherry on the top! Wish I could get my sewing machine to stitch on paper, but it won't.I'd also bet the cards are all saved each year as the treasures they are!

Yes, I know what you mean about running through all the Halloween stamps (or insert another category) you have, and feeling like you don't want to repeat 'em again! THese House Mouse images are so cute, and it was so kind of your friend to come to the rescue.

Not a big fan of Halloween here, bu these two are just too cute not to comment. I sure would like to know how you're stitching turns out perfect every time. But then, I would also like to know how you're coloring is always flawless!!
