Welcome back! I’ve had myself a such a nice time with the Power Poppy August release – Share Your Sunshine -- and I hope you’ve enjoyed it, as well. Never for one minute do I fail to appreciate how fortunate I am to design with Marcella’s images. It’s as exciting now as it was with our very first release in April this year!
Today I’m using the new Glads & Gerberas photopolymer set, one of Marcella’s Dynamic Duos. Ordinarily I think of bright colors in regard to Gerberas, but perhaps it’s time to pay tribute to some of their lovely powdery soft colors, as well:
It was so easy to stamp this image panel. Looks like I went to all the trouble to mask, but really it’s just the trio of blooms stamped three times along the edge. Since I was using soft colors I stamped in a light ink -- Ranger Distress Tea Dye. These are the Copic markers I used for coloring:
Sending Love. . . now there’s a sentiment I’ll use a lot, but, frankly, all the sentiments in this set are infinitely usable.
How about one last tour for the week? We’ll journey through summer and right into fall on this trip with the Bloom Brigade:
Thanks, as always, for your time during my favorite week of the month – when I get to share peeks at the latest Power Poppy release. The Share Your Sunshine collection is available NOW – oh, happy day! See you again soon!
Stamps: Glads & Gerberas Paper: X-Press It Blending Card (white for coloring), textured white (card base), My Mind’s Eye Howdy Doody designer paper Ink: Ranger Distress Tea Dye (daisies), Ranger Distress Vintage Photo (sentiment), Copic markers as pictured above Accessories: Ribbon, candy dots, Spellbinders Grand Ovals, 1” circle punch, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

Oh my Leslie, another beautiful and inspiring card! I love the softness of your gerber daisies, each flower coloured so perfectly with the petals so defined. By using the soft coloured ink to stamp this really makes them look so real - I need to give this a try. Great layout and love your choice of papers. Your cards are always so inspiring Leslie, I can't wait to see more! Have a great weekend, hugs,

This is one of the most beautiful cards you have colored. I can't decide if it is the color combination or just the beauty of your coloring, but I just LOVE this! Awesome, awesome job!!
