Every Wednesday from spring well into fall there’s an open air market downtown and it just happens to be one of my days off. Local produce, crafts, a riot of colorful flowers, the music of street musicians accompanied by the pop and sizzle and savory scent of grilled you-name-it. Folks passing with friendly “hellos”. Friends meeting. Dogs greeting. It’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Marcella’s Farmers Market set comes along at the height of the season and puts me right back there on the street again.
I couldn’t resist the apple crate with gingham and raffia and a friendly greeting.
This clear stamp set has three delicious images to color and pair up with multiple sentiments. I used the following Copic markers on X-Press It Blending card:
Mmmmm, delicious! I can’t wait for the apple harvest this fall.
I’m excited for you to see more from the Bloom Brigade. It’s a good crop this month. Marcella calls this release the “Share Your Sunshine Collection”:
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing something very sunny and cheerful. Hope to see you then! Enjoy!
Stamps: Farmers Market Paper: Kraft, X-Press It Blending Card, My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found designer paper Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers as pictured above Accessories: Rick Rack, raffia, eyelet edge punch, Scotch brand foam mounting tape to pop up image panel

Another eye pleasing card Leslie! Love the country feel to this card, your apples are coloured to perfection, they look so real. The gingham paper, raffia, rickrack trim, and kraft c/s really set the tone for this card - to me is speaks fall time all the way. There is nothing better than a fresh, hard, juicy apple - I can't wait to the new crops are ready. Thanks again for your great inspiration - beautiful!
