I’ve recently become acquainted with QKR Stampede stamps. They have everything from realistic to comical and cute. Every image is available in both unmounted rubber and digital, and all are expertly illustrated. I went there looking for something sweet and funny for my husband’s Valentine, knowing the right image would speak to me when I saw it.
It was the sentiment that spoke to me first. I spotted it in the Valentine category and it was exactly what I wanted to say. I just needed to find the right image to go with it. A thorough and very enjoyable search turned up these two, and I’ll be darned if that isn’t Rich and me! Well. . . almost. . . sort of. . . Rich has less hair. Kidding! He has plenty of hair and it’s just about that color. Anyway, I love them!
This is a digital stamp. I colored with Copic markers and added red Stickles glitter to the hearts on Mrs. Mouse’s bloomers. I’m entering this in QKR’s Challenge #74 – Hearts and Kisses. You can see where the hearts are and, judging by the look of these two, I’d say the kisses are implied. At least I hope so, or I might be disqualified.
I’ll list ingredients in the recipe below and catch you back here on Friday with the last of the Valentines. Enjoy your day!
Stamps: Digi QKR Stampede #7603 and #11803 Paper: Rose Red textured, white textured, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White (for image), My Mind’s Eye Vanity Fair designer paper Ink: Printer, Copic markers Accessories: Rhinestones, Holiday Red Stickles glitter glue, Spellbinders Heart Circles, Standard Circles Large, and Nested Pennants dies, Scotch brand foam mounting tape
Oh my goodness, Leslie. Talk about sweetness.. This is so adorable. And I'm really lovin' those sparkly red hearts on the bloomers!! hehe Rich is going to love this.

OOOOMG ... that image is just tooo cute and you have created an adorable card for your hubby. I never used to be a "Valentine's" girl but as I get older, I am finding that any reason or even NO reason is a great time to let my hubby know how much I appreciate him. And your card will certainly make your hubby feel special Leslie.

This is so cute! Bet it was fun to color. I thought of you recently when I purchased some Copic markers (because you love to color) online. At first, was planning to purchase from Blick Art Supplies, but they had limited colors. I was looking for the reaaaaally light colors (000, or 0000), and they really didn't have 'em. I went with Copic Color.com instead. Prices were decent!

I love your card and that wonderful digital image. Unfortunately, I didn't make any Valentine's cards this year. A case of bronchitis, lots of snow and a quick trip to Disney to watch my daughter march in the parade ate away at my crafting time.
