Hello, friends! I checked one more item off my Christmas to-do list when I finished the last four of five cards for a small gift set requested by a coworker. They’re all made with Flourishes’ Summer Blossoms and a few sentiments borrowed from other Flourishes sets. I used varying shades of peach and coral as well as white and ivory with the retired Stampin’ Up! Ginger Blossoms designer paper I’ve been trying to use up.
The designs are mostly simple, determined by the size of the paper scraps and various die cuts I pulled out of the card parts box. I had to work quickly to get them done in the allotted time, but as a set I think they'll be fine.
This last one is the card I started with, which I shared before, but since it’s part of the set I thought I would include it here, too.
All the die cuts are Spellbinders. Please forgive me for not listing any further details. I still have much to do – potluck at work tomorrow (it’s Thursday night as I write this), dinner and gift exchange with friends tomorrow night, candy making, baking, cleaning, Christmas dinner shopping this weekend. I’m back to work on Monday only and then I’m free as a bird until January 6th. Oh, how I’m looking forward to that! Happy holidays!
A beautiful, beautiful set. I am always amazed at how good you are at using up your scrap pieces, something I need to do more. All the cards are so gorgeous, I am sure the co-worker will LOVE them as well as the recipient. They all go together so nicely!! Enjoy your time off, sounds like you are busy for the next several days. I have lots to do, too, and sure hope I get it all done in time...I seem to put too much off lately!! Have a wonder and Merry Christmas (I hope Santa is good to you)and give the fur babies a big hug for me!!

You are doing better than me. I don't even have time to craft right now. I am sooo behind on buying and wrapping this year. I swear I am not putting things off next year. Sigh
Your cards are beautiful! This is my all time favorite stamp set. I love the different ways you used it. :)
Merry Christmas!

Looking at your lovely cards has boosted my spirits this wintry morning in Southern Quebec. I can't say for sure, if it's the colour palette (one of my all time favourites; or the summer theme, or is it the fine detail work and your world- famous colouring. All I know is that I feel cheerier than I did before I opened your note. Absolutely charming cards. Wishing the four of you a splendid Christmas, brimming with love, joy and peace. Oh yes, and rest. Enjoy the time off.
Cheers to the season, Francie

Leslie, I am in 'awe'! This set is gorgeous! You have an eye in matching this stamp set with the paper! I'm envious of the recipient! Wishing you all the best during the holidays as you spend time with family & friends. Looking forward to see more of your beautiful creations (that inspire me so) in 2014.
Merry Christmas!

Glorious! Leslie, this card set is so beautiful. You continue to inspire me to use what I have on hand (which I have been doing). I have been cutting up and organizing my 12x12 dp and cutting extra die pieces from scrapes for my die cut box too. It really helps. Now if I could get some pieces colored up that would be great. One thing I've done is use my scraps for Christmas tags/ornaments.
Your beautiful coloring, choice of images from the Blossom set, stitching, and placement of elements is perfect. Not only do I love to see your work but I feel like you have been a mentor to all. I learn something each and every time. Have a wonderful Christmas break and enjoy your time off. I am off today through January 6th too. Yay us!! Now I better get myself going I am way behind getting my cards mailed - fingers crossed they get where they need to be in time for Christmas. Merry Christmas sweet friend. May your heart be filled with joy and peace.
((Big)) hugs,
Susie ~

The cards are all marvelous, Leslie! She will be thrilled! We still have so much to do, too. At least today was my last day of babysitting our grandsons, so I'll be "free" for a while, too. Sorry you'll be working on Monday, but enjoy all the time you have off! My husband's last day was Tuesday, but he'll be back to work on January 2, as will I.

These are just stunning! Each one is perfect by itself and putting them all together as a set just makes them awesome! These are "wow" cards! I should remember that idea as a gift for next year. Lots of my friends would love something like that as well. Enjoy your time off!! Give "our" fur babies a hug!

This set is gorgeous! You inspired me to make a card set for someone, right here at the last minute, using just one stamp set. It can't even start to compare to yours, but it sure was fun to make!

Hmm, wondering how I miss the gorgeousness! Fabulous design and of course, the colors and coloring is brilliant, wonderful gift!

What a pretty set. The retired SU papers you used were the perfect choice to go with the hues of the colored blossoms (or is it the other way around?). The recipient's gotta love these!

Absolutely gorgeous, Leslie! It's hard to believe that these beautiful cards were made from bits and pieces from your scrap pile! I am sure the recipient will love these!
