Hello! For the card I’m sharing today I worked with a sketch I came across on Pinterest. The pin doesn’t link to a blog, but the sketch is labeled “Susan Stringfellow”. Just want to give credit and thanks to the creator of the sketch. These Summer Blossoms with a Tiny Flowers and Tags sentiment from Flourishes were a nice fit in the image panel.
I watercolored with Stampin’ Up! inks on 90 lb hot press watercolor paper and matted on a Picot Edge Spellbinders die cut. The upper edge, hand stitched with copper metallic thread, matches the copper slide on the velvet ribbon. Still working on making a dent in my scrap stash of 12 x 12 papers, I used the same retired SU! collection as on my last floral card. I have quite a bit of this paper collection left, but with a little diligence I may use it up soon. We’ll see how that goes.
I need to make this quick today, so I’ll say “so long” till next time. Have a happy day!
Stamps: Summer Blossoms, Tiny Flowers and Tags sentiment (both from Flourishes) Paper: River Rock textured, 90 lb hot press watercolor, retired Stampin’ Up! designer paper Ink: Palette Noir, Purely Pomegranate, Regal Rose, Groovy Guava, River Rock Accessories: Ribbon, ribbon slide, copper metallic thread, Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Picot Edge Circles
I really love the finished product here! Your coloring is just perfect and I am impressed with the layout of the card. Just a very pretty design and as always you aced it!

Oh, just look at that handstitched border! It's perfect, Leslie. I had to gaze a little longer at that to see if it was an accent you had placed there, or it was really stitching. The whole card is beautiful!
