Hi, I’m back! So soon? But I really wanted to color one of the newer images I saved from Digital Two for Tuesday. This one is from a collection of 1882 needlework patterns and can be found here. The image is so fresh and light and airy, it seemed perfect for springtime. More coloring, less time spent designing the card, I also reorganized the drawer where I keep my 12 x 12 scraps and came up with these old, but still pretty Stampin’ Up! designer papers.
I printed the image twice on Flourishes Classic White cardstock so I could cut out and pop up the two forward facing flowers.
I used another little part of the second image for the inside, too.
Coloring was done with these Copic markers:
I hope you’re having a good week so far. I’m back at work today after a three day weekend, but I have tomorrow off, too. Wednesdays and weekends – I love it! Take good care and I’ll see you again soon!

Leslie, this is just gorgeous! I love the SU papers; do you know what they are called? Must have been before I started because I don't recognize the pattern. They go so well with the colored image. Soft wonderful colors. Just beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Have a great day!

One of the most lovely cards you've ever created. It's got everything I love in a card and executed with your first-class expertize. It goes without saying, the colouring & design are exceptional and you always seem to choose just the right pallet. Bravo!

Another gorgeous flower card! You really have me in the mood to do flowers! This is just beautiful & I LOVE the way you popped the flowers up. I get tomorrow off too, while they install a new furnace & central air. When I think of the dies & paper I could have bought with THAT money, I want to cry! ha ha Enjoy your day off!

Leslie,
This is gorgeous. I almost did not recognize the image. I just love the colors and the stitching. I would love to post this on Digital Two for Tuesday. Email it to me the main image if you want me to. I will send them back here for the rest of the images.

My gosh, this is so pretty. Perfect coloring, perfect! And the stitching, well, I'm in awe! I haven't been brave enough to try this. I don't know why. Just do it - right? I should take some scraps out and just practice. I love the colors (the dp are really, really pretty together) and popping up the flowers is always such nice idea - really gives some added dimension doesn't it? Another beautiful floral, Leslie.

Hi Leslie! I think your card is so beautiful! You transformed that vintage image with your amazing coloring. It does remind me of an old framed needlecraft work. Love your double stitching. Thanks for visiting my blog; I hope more Digital Two for Tuesday fans will share their work with us!! Bye for now!
