Look closely at LuLu’s chest. Do you see all the black? Well, she’s not as small as she used to be and to crawl under the deck now is a tight squeeze, scooting over black, composted garden soil. Wet garden soil. But she loves to crawl under there and then poke her head out at Wally, teasing The Big Guy who has long since outgrown the space where he once loved to play, as well.
“You mean, just because she got dirty I have to stay outside, too?”
After a lot of water and scrubbing she was fit to come back in. I believe she thought she’d done something naughty, so the whole time I was cleaning her I used my happy voice to reassure her that’s just what puppies do and it’s okay she’s a good girl Mommy loves her sweet baby and the dirtier you get the more fun you have and you sure look like you had a lot of fun. You get the picture. She carried the scent of the good earth for a while, but then, I like that scent, too. My earthy little puppy.
Naturally, once the door was open Wally decided he preferred to stay outside on the sunny deck. As long as he has a choice and he doesn’t feel cut off from his people, he’ll always choose outside. I can’t wait for summer when the doors can stay open all day.
Wally and LuLu send their love. They’re very free and generous with it and, believe me, nothing would make them happier than to give it to you in person. Have a beautiful day!
Wouldn't I love to give them some loving'!!! Are you making a journal or anything with all of these wonderful photos? LuLu is sure growing up. I'll bet that sun felt good.

Silly little sweetheart, typical Golden, always looking for fun! Wally does look like he's wondering why he's in trouble, sweet boy! You can't image how badly I would love to greet them in person!

I can almost feel the puppy love through the computer! Although, in person would be soooo much better! Hugs to Wally and LuLu.

Sheesh, I know I say it all the time, but I can't get over what beautiful dogs they are. I'm amazed at how quickly Lulu has grown. I think it would be fun if you posted side by side pics of when you first got Lulu and her now.
They look so lovable. You are blessed to have them in your life.

Even tho we have a puppy to love, Lulu is beautiful and I know surely a joy, but....Wally has been blessed with a 'heart tugging' face. I could not make that face do anything but what pleased him. I promise I look forward to Saturday to see what they are up to!!!

Sending the pups loving positive thoughts back from Montreal. They are so precious and have the most expressive little faces. Takes one's heart and gives it a good tug. I do enjoy my Saturday morning with them.

I just love your Wally and Lulu posts! Have a wonderful weekend!

that is too funny, hopefully she doesn't get stuck one of these times, Peanut always wants to follow the cats under ours but there isn't enough room for her, so she just sits there and cries at them.

HaHa. My female Husky loves to get dirty too. She gravitates towards puddles and mud(Huskies normally don't likes water), I swear she was a Lab in her past life. LOL. Sweet pictures of your Furbabies.

It is just amazing how beautiful the two of them are. Poor LuLu. She will learn quickly enough that getting dirty means getting a bath! You make the perfect mom for them. The 3 of you were meant to be together & I'm so thankful you are willing to share!

You know LuLu & I have that in common. I'm not as small as I used to be either (ahem) & when gardening season arrives & I need to crawl under our deck or around the flower beds I end up covered in dirt too, but I digress.....Fun seeing their latest adventure out in nature. Sure seems as though these two know how to enjoy life. Thanks for sharing the joy they bring you with all of us.

Awe...such sweetness! So cute that LuLu has a dirty chest. I'm with Wally, and would choose the sunshine too!

Yep, that's exactly what Wally is saying. It's amazing how they don't need to talk isn't it? They both look so happy and loved. Big hugs to both of them.
