I hope you aren’t blinded by the white on these cards. I was in a mood, I guess. I sat down one day and made six cards along these lines thinking, “just get a few done and I’ll have time to do some of those warm, colorful cards later”. Perhaps I won’t send out as many cards this year. Perhaps I’ll even buy some cards (gasp!). The only real plan I have this year is to not worry about it.
For both cards I’ve used glossy cardstock, though the gloss doesn’t show in the photos. It embossed deeply and gave the cards a nice quality finish. Very clean and simple.
Stamps: Stampin’ Up! Heard From the Heart Paper: Glossy white Ink: Cherry Cobbler Accessories: Prima Poinsettia Flower, Petals A’Plenty Sizzix embossing folder (Stampin’ Up!)
I added a stamped border and ribbon to the second card.
Stamps: Hero Arts greeting, Stampin’ Up! All in a Row (retired) Paper: Glossy white Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke Accessories: Ribbon, Prima flower, Sizzix Petals A’Plenty embossing folder (Stampin’ Up!)
I think I’m going to have a very merry Christmas this year, and I hope you will, too. Take care, and enjoy your weekend!
Both cards are beautiful! Such clean and elegant lines on each one! Gorgeous!!

Oh my! THese are wonderful, Leslie. I especially like the first one, with that big bold poinsettia. It's gorgeous, and looks like something I'd see in a magazine.
I am with you on the only plan being not to worry about CHristmas cards this year! I am definitely planning to buy some. :)

so pretty, love how you didn't use the whole embossing folder, and such pretty flowers, I haven't even started yet on my Christmas cards, love these ideas!

Leslie, great ideas on your cards. I think a white card is so elegant just like the ones you displayed. Gotta have that embossing folder. (I'm an embossing folder junkie!) I've gotten to the point of buying and making cards. I saw someone throw one of my cards away. Guess what list they are on? Continue with those white cards. Would love to see more of them. Happy week-end.

These are great CAS designs, Leslie. Using the glossy cardstock is an intersting idea. And I really LOVE your new-found feisty independence! Very inspirational. I'm also in the first stages of pondering over Christmas card stamping. How many? Any for the Salon? As always, the clock is ticking . . . Linda

OMG Leslie, your CAS cards are just gorgeous. You know I have never dry EB glossy....what a beautiful deep EB finish you got on your cards. I will definately try and share. Thanks so much for sharing both your cards.

What great creations here!!! I am going to have to CASE these cards...so elegant and simple...I love the shiny cardstock...that is all I ever use now...and I am hooked...it just looks more elegant than regular cardstock...and that Sizzix folder is perfectly beautiful...wonder would it work in a Cuttlebug?

Leslie, these are just beautiful. I love your first one with the use of the embossing folder with room to stamp at the top. I usually forget I can do this. Thanks for the beautiful eye candy today. We're having another dreary day here in Ohio.

Both very pretty as always. I really like them for being CAS. Embossing always takes a card to gorgeous doesn't it?

I'm glad you were in a "mood" today because you came up with 2 very beautiful cards while you were in it! It's so refreshing to see a simple white card and the embossing just makes them both stunning. They are both perfect!
