Last Sunday I went to a friend's 40th birthday party. She says I make "grandma" cards, so I tried to make this one cute rather than all pretty and flowery. I haven't failed to notice the irony of the grandma figure on her card, though I didn't think about it until the card was nearly finished.
This is an Inkadinkado mini set called Only a Kid Once. I colored Grandma The Kid with Copic markers and matched her up with October Afternoon Fly a Kite papers. Just a bit of summer dreaming in the middle of winter.
More ingredients are listed in the recipe. Thanks so much for dropping in! Have a great day!
Stamps: Inkadinkado Only a Kid Once Paper: PTI Aqua Mist and Lemon Tart, Flourishes Classic White, October Afternoon Fly a Kite designer paper Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics for coloring Accessories: Ribbon, Prima flowers, BasicGrey Boxer glazed brad, Stampin' Up! edge punch
This is too cute! I love the papers you chose!

Fun image and sentiment, love the layering of your papers and border punch, pretty flower too....I didn't realize that style is grandma cards, maybe that is why it is hard for me to do cards for younger people :)

This BD card is a cutie. I love the colors - especially when some of the country is experiencing such cold. It reminds us that warmer weather is just around the corner. I do have a question Leslie. What size needle do you use when sewing on your cardstock?
