Hello, Blog Hoppers! Today The Dream Team from Stamper's Dream is joining JustRite Stampers for the second in the series of their newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops! Every Wednesday until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing the JustRite Christmas Collection of stamps. So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card, and project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog.
Today I’ve used Christmas Nested Frames and a sentiment which accompanies the set.
I stamped and layered the nested frames and sentiment, did the minimal coloring with Tombow Markers, and sponged the edges of the frame panels with soft pink ink. I used older and retired, but still pretty, Christmas designer papers. The curve was cut with a Spellbinders border and edged with Stickles Stardust Glitter. The pretty frosted Primas, glittery brad, and shimmery metallic cord put this well over the no extra postage limit, tsk, tsk, but at least it will still fit in an envelope. I’ll put two postage stamps on it and write “hand cancel, please” on the envelope and it will be good to go. Since I’ve started stowing away the occasional book of postage stamps, it will take some of the sting out of the expense come December.

This design reminds me of an elegant envelope! Love all the extra touches you gave it, even if it upped your postage.

Oh my! This is absolutely beautiful! Love the deep scarlet red with the pale baby blue. The soft scallop design is a great contrast with the straight lines of the rectangular sentiment.
