I found all the parts for this card tucked away in a box of unfinished projects. I guess I got just so far and then had to move on to something else. This was part of a spree of get well stamping – cards for my “for sale” basket at work. The flower vase is from an old Hero Arts set and the sentiment from JustRite. I was making a point of using all the stamps in this set, as well as using up some older supplies (the felt flower and a scrap of designer paper). This is the only card from the group I photographed.
I don’t like leaving loose ends, though you’d never know it judging by all the images I’ve stamped or printed which are still awaiting color. Over the weekend I moved them all to one folder and it is stuffed full. I’m going to make an effort to work my way through them, but my stamping is subject to both need and whim, if you know what I mean. Good thing it’s all fun, right? Card details can be found in the recipe, below. I’m so glad you could stop by. Have a super day!
Stamps: Hero Arts Flowers and Vases, JustRite Just Because Paper: Flourishes Classic White, red, BasicGray Urban Prairie designer paper Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers for coloring Accessories: Felt flower, Black Diamond Stickles glitter glue, scallop punch, Stampin’ Up! Elegant Bouquet embossing folder, Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants

I definitely know what you mean about having so many things stamped and printed awaiting color. I have so many and need to think about some way to get them into one box or basket or folder. I put that off for some reason. This is so very colorful and I think it is just a perfect way to let someone know you are thinking of them!

Love this Miss Leslie!! Simply Lovely and cheery all at the same time! 8-) And I'm right there with you! I have a big folder full of stamped images, waiting to be colored up, some even colored up waiting to be used on a card and some partially colored up too, lol.. And It's so true, about being subject to need or whim, lol ;-)

Such a gorgeous card. Love the white with the pops of color. I add my name to the list of those with images waiting for color. When I print off an image, I always have to do 4 so I can fill the sheet.

This is so, so pretty! The embossing folder you used looks amazing, and I love the red borders and that cute red flower! I really should organize all my bits and pieces to use them. I've just stuffed them in corners and drawers where I never see them again!

I love all of that clean white space with the pops of red! This would definitely cheer anyone going through a rough patch!
And I may have a few images that I've colored or stamped that could be used on a card. Sometimes just stamping or coloring are enough to help me relax and feel creative! It's always a bonus when I can use one of them on a card.....helps speed things up!

I love it, Leslie! Aren't "card parts" fun to work with? I have LOTS of them to play with. At least they are all in one spot for me right now:) Your card is awesome.
