Red is the most difficult colour to use with Copics and I'm always in awe of anyone who can colour with the reds. And in awe I am of this beautiful card, Leslie ... splendid work.

Glenda

Every time I try and color with red, I wind up almost in tears...I just can't seem to get the hang of it. You have done such a beautiful job with this! Well done!

Nimue

Beautiful flowers. You have so much dimension in them. Love that Scarlet's Letter.

Francie in Montreal

I can't tell you how much I love this card. It is so vibrant, so alive. The backdrop sets off your image to perfection. Beautifully done!

Such a pretty and vibrant card...very cheerful on this gloomy, cold day here!! I grow a few anemones myself, and this card makes me want to plant more!!! Your coloring is always so spetacular!! Have a great day and can't wait to see the rest you colored!!!

Pauline

Beautiful Leslie! Love the richness of the reds, you did a wonderful job colouring. And the paper is perfect! The black layer behind the image really makes this pop off the card. Thanks for the inspiration and look forward to seeing the other images you coloured. Have a great day!

Maggie S

This card is just so gorgeous. Love the vibrant colors of the flowers. I believe I have a pack of the Scarlet collection. Fabulous layout.

Leslie, these fabulously shaded and colored anemones are very elegant - so pretty. I especially like your background layers, made in a variety of prints, and with the border punches - such a beautiful card!

Evelyn in Oregon

This is so much of what I LOVE! Bold, vibrant images and colors! Beautiful, beautiful use of your Copic markers.

Leigh

Oh how beautiful. What a pity they aren't in your garden anymore Leslie. They must have made a stunning display.

Conniecrafter

Oh my you would never know that started out as a dover image, your coloring is just amazing, and that paper is the perfect compliment to it! To be able to visit with your son and have some fun coloring it sounds like the perfect weekend :)

Bobbi Miller

You are one of the true masters of coloring! These flowers look so real, so velvety to the touch! So, let me ask, do you download the images from Dover, save them to your computer, then print them on cardstock then color? What an easy way to not have to keep a stamp set on hand, especially if you may only use the image once or twice. Let me know, because the more I see your Dover images, the more intrigued I get. I am new to digital imaging and coloring. Maybe this could be printed on water color paper too and painted with watercolors? Love this card Leslie!

Alexandra

Gorgeous image and perfect colouring. This is a beautiful card Leslie.

Tammy Hair

OH wow Leslie, incredible coloring, such depth of color! Gorgeous card!

Linda Nicholson

Oh my...the flowers look so plush! Your coloring skills never cease to amaze me! Beautiful card!

Love!! :)
You know, when I lived in Eugene I used to go to the flower nurseries and photograph the flowers. The Anemones were some of my favorite, with their bright cheerful colors!

Lynette

Gorgeous, Leslie! How fun to be able to relax and get three images colored while the guys were working - awesome! Love the way you finished the wonderful flowers into a beautiful card, too. Can't wait to see the other two colored images.

Sherri Dean

This is just truly beautiful! The red just pops right off the card & your coloring is just awesome. When I go to my friend Gail's house to "play" I take my markers & a pile of stamped images too. It's amazing what you get done when you don't stop to assemble anything! I'll be waiting to see what you have next!

Joanna McDonald

Soooooooooooo beautiful!! The colors are striking.
a beautiful card indeed. Thanks for sharing. I signed
up at Dover - sounds neat!

Marilyn Valadez

Colleen Dietrich

Gorgeous, dramatic anemonies, Leslie! So richly colored.

CherylQuilts

Oh, Leslie, I LOVE this card! I agree...red is so hard, and you are amazing. I think one needs to be bold (and brave) and not be afraid to go darker. You've shown such depth to these lovely flowers! I LOVE that you are now blogging and sharing your love and joy in stamping and coloring! So glad to see your cards...and your goldens in each blog. Hugs, Cheryl
