This is so gorgeous. Love the dp that you used for this and the whimsical image Your star is beautiful. I'm supposed to be making 5 Christmas cards each month and haven't started yet. You inspire me.

Mary Beth

Adorable, whimsical and fun. What a good idea to have the 25th as a deadline each month...definitely motivating and brings a little more structure to my crazy crafting world. Thanks for your wonderful inspiration!

Pauline

Beautiful! This is such a funky image, I love how you displayed it. I've been trying to commit myself to do at least 2 Christmas cards a month, so far nothing, but hey, I still have a week left! :)

Alexandra

Great idea Leslie I nearly always leave this until the last gasp. Lovely card, it's Happy Burns night here in Scotland today 25th January.
An old saying here wishing you well at little expence:

WOW! This is gorgeous Leslie! I love the design and your layers are just perfect for the stamp. I love your stitching, although I am not a sewer, but it sure does look nice on your cards. And I think a Christmas card each month is a great idea; no need to rush during the holiday season to get them all done. I had saved all mine up from 1-2 years ago, and sent them all out this year. ahhh that was nice. I have a good start on this year's cards too. :-)

Diane

Superb idea of a Christmas card post each month. As soon as Christmas is over I start my search for the next year's Christmas card idea. I look forward to ALL of your posts.

Sallyann Mettler

thanks so much for sharing your Christmas card. I too have begun making Christmas cards. I have decided I will make a new design each month and make 12 of each design. Come December 1st I should have all I need to mail out. It is a good plan and I hope I will be able to stick with it. I think our postings will not only give me great ideas but will keep me on track.
I love your card!!

Good for you, Leslie! I usually put a photo of my kids on the card so I hold off in starting too early. I will count myself lucky if I start by October. You are off to a great start with this beautiful card!

yogi

cute. Have fun with your challenge. BIG GRIN. I usually start mine in June... Too cold up in my neck of the woods to be thinking winter/Xmas cards. I just want to forget about it all...
Have a great day

I love seeing your cards Leslie. The stitching on your cards always looks so pretty...wish mine would turn out like that! Thank you for the inspiration!

Desiree de Monye

I love the whimsey of this card! Thanks for sharing!

Troy Louise

Very fun card. Lots of great coloring & I always love a little glitter. What a good idea to try to do a Christmas card on or around the 25th. I'll see if I can get motivated enough to try it!

Donna Ellis

Hi, Leslie - a LOVELY card! I'm so proud of you to start Christmas cards. Yes, I have plans to do the same, but thus far, have not been very successful. LOL The on-line challenges certainly help! The DPs in your card are so happy, and I like all the stitching, too. You have been pinned. Thanks for the inspiration today! hugs, de

Just Beautiful Miss Leslie!! Love the Wonderful Artsy image and your Super layout and choice of DP's.. I will keep my fingers crossed for your goal, nothing better than having your Christmas cards done well in advance, giving you more time to enjoy friends and family... ;-)

Big hugs
Shannon

Lovely! I am making cards for the troops each year, and they have specific instructions about what can be used, eg glitter can't be used as it shows up on infra-red, etc. It would be nice to see some designs that could be CASE'd for this worthy cause. I love the quirky trees on this card, by the way!

Linda Carson

Quite a festive beauty! I think this is a great idea. I don't have enough room to keep my Christmas stuff out all year round. Hope you make your goal.

nancy littrell

Wow...all your glitter, layering with DSP and sewing are just wonderful. So Leslie :-) TFS
Good for you for starting early !!!!

Stacy aka Twinshappy

You know I start early! hee hee This is cute and a fun image.

Holly AKA KopyKat

oh wow this is so fabulous, love the colors and the great design. How great you are actually doing what you set out to do, I will continue to talk about doing it, make one in the summer and then kick myself again in November, it's my ritual, lol.

Cheryl Lea

This is beautiful! I love the colors you chose for the trees and all the red you used in the stars and ground. You've made me want to work on Christmas cards all year, too.

Conniecrafter

that is so cool, love the colors and the playfulness of the card. I keep thinking this every end of November that I should have started cards throughout the year and it just never happens, good luck with keeping it up :)

Pam

I'm so glad you decided to post your cards! you know the saying they use on the singing realty shows......"she can sing the phone book"? Well, you can craft the phone book! You give us something different every time....i love your work, very inspiring and beautiful. thank you!

Danielle

I just love this image! Fabulous coloring and great papers and layout!

Susan (rainy)

Absolutely gorgeous, Leslie. And I love the combination of patterned papers.. the colors, the design... LOVE!

Colleen Dietrich

I like the pretty papers you paired with this fun image, Leslie. I hope you are able to continue with the Christmas cards each month. I love that season, even though it drains the living day lights out of me! By making holiday cards the rest of the year, it may seem more enjoyable, know what I mean?

Stef Perry

Love the combination of colors and papers, and that image is divine!! So glad to see you making and posting cards again!

Heather Jensen

I think it looks just fine from my end! Love the colors and the added glitter. :)

Hugs~
