I’m going to try to commit to one or more Christmas cards per month this year and I thought if I don’t post them here, I may not be motivated to continue. Thank you in advance for indulging me. Do you have any plans to start early? Maybe we can motivate each other.
This is one of two cards I made with my old Running Rhino stamps. I liked this one best, so I chose it to represent this month’s Christmas stamping.
I stamped on Flourishes Classic White cardstock and colored with Copic markers. It’s heavily glittered and looks much better in real life. I drew the star accent on lightweight cardstock which I first covered with designer paper. The die cuts are from Spellbinders and the sentiment from JustRite.
That’s probably enough Christmas for now, isn’t it? I hope to post a Christmas card on the 25th of each month. There, I’ve said it. I sure hope I can stay on track, but we all know how good I am at changing my mind. Have a merry January day!

Beautiful! This is such a funky image, I love how you displayed it. I've been trying to commit myself to do at least 2 Christmas cards a month, so far nothing, but hey, I still have a week left! :)

Great idea Leslie I nearly always leave this until the last gasp. Lovely card, it's Happy Burns night here in Scotland today 25th January.

WOW! This is gorgeous Leslie! I love the design and your layers are just perfect for the stamp. I love your stitching, although I am not a sewer, but it sure does look nice on your cards. And I think a Christmas card each month is a great idea; no need to rush during the holiday season to get them all done. I had saved all mine up from 1-2 years ago, and sent them all out this year. ahhh that was nice. I have a good start on this year's cards too. :-)

thanks so much for sharing your Christmas card. I too have begun making Christmas cards. I have decided I will make a new design each month and make 12 of each design. Come December 1st I should have all I need to mail out. It is a good plan and I hope I will be able to stick with it. I think our postings will not only give me great ideas but will keep me on track.

Good for you, Leslie! I usually put a photo of my kids on the card so I hold off in starting too early. I will count myself lucky if I start by October. You are off to a great start with this beautiful card!

Very fun card. Lots of great coloring & I always love a little glitter. What a good idea to try to do a Christmas card on or around the 25th. I'll see if I can get motivated enough to try it!

Lovely! I am making cards for the troops each year, and they have specific instructions about what can be used, eg glitter can't be used as it shows up on infra-red, etc. It would be nice to see some designs that could be CASE'd for this worthy cause. I love the quirky trees on this card, by the way!

I like the pretty papers you paired with this fun image, Leslie. I hope you are able to continue with the Christmas cards each month. I love that season, even though it drains the living day lights out of me! By making holiday cards the rest of the year, it may seem more enjoyable, know what I mean?
