Thank you!!! I do have Photoshop but I'm going to download this program and try it out. Great job of explaining this. Your photo turned out beautiful.

Tammy Hair

Wow, that's a lot of information! I get very frustrated editing my photos but since I have a iMac, I don't think it compatible. But I will check it out. Thanks!

Chris Franco

Great post and so clearly spelled out. Thank you! I think I have this on my computer too - yikes!

bonnie weiss

Thanks so much for sharing this valuable information, Leslie. Not only are you a talented artist but a skilled photographer too.

Judy Covey

Thank you so much for your step by step instructions on how to enhance pictures of items that we upload and post on-line, primarily cards. I'm definitely going to try this method next time I get ready to upload a new card. Love your blog, and want you to know that it shows that you are enjoying card-making so much more now that you don't feel obligated to blog on a daily basis. Love seeing pictures of your babies (dogs) too ... they have the best home in the world!

Oh Your The BEST!!! Thanks so much for this post! I'm going to go back and read it a few more times and then bookmark it....
Thank You, Thank You!!!

Thanks for the great tips, Leslie! I think sometimes the photography is what slows up my blogging process. This and the link you provided should help!

Marian

Thanks, so much, Leslie. I have a little light box, but this makes so much more sense. I am not familiar with that system, I have been using the one with my printer; but I most certainly will try the Windows program. I know it took quite a while to show all this and I am grateful for your help since I am a fairly newbie to blogging and did it just to see if I could.

Anne

Thanks so much for the photograph editing tips. They'll be very useful. I learned some things I didn't know before and now I'm ready to try my hand at editing my photos. Thanks again!

Gabriela Divine

Such great info and step by step instructions. I use Adobe photoshop, my hubby bought it for me soon after I started taking pictures (in the beginning I always scanned my cards) Great ideas, thanks for sharing!

Kraftyaunt

IT HELPED! IT HELPED!! IT HELPED!! IT HELPED!! Have I conveyed it strongly enough? Thank you ever so much. I can't wait till the next time I make a card and photograph it so that I can try this. You're the best.

Francie (Montreal)

What nice clear instructions. Thank you. I must try them out. Now we know how you do it. Again thanks for sharing this.

Jan Marie

This is a wondeful tutorial that I will definitely put into to use. The photography is my weakest point in my work. I will definitely download this program and follow your instrutions.

Susan H

Thank you for taking the time to give us this helpful (to me) step by step tutorial Leslie!

Vicki Wizniuk

This is great. I'm looking for something to use now that Picnic will be not be available after April.

Using your insructions, I went in and edited a photo. Pretty straight forward, thanks. I just have to figure out how to add text, as I'm not sure it's an option. And resize... I like to resize my photos to a maximum of 800 for my blog. Any suggestions, or perhaps am I missing where I would do that?

Also, do you add your watermark using another method that you could share?

Sorry for so many questions, as I'm sure you are a busy lady. I'm just looking for an easy option for my photo editing before Picnic shuts down.

Thanks & have a wonderful day! :)

Michelle

Thank you for sharing this info. I've been wondering how I can improve my photos. I can't wait to try this!

WOW....thank you....I NEEDED this!

Linda Carson

Thank you Lulu's Mom! This information is priceless to those of us who are photo editing challenged!

Sherri Dean

This is something I intend to try. So often, my photos come out just nothing like my actual card. You are such a sweetie for sharing! Give Wally & Lulu a hug for me!

Rose Ann

Your set-up looks quite similar to mine (they look like the same OTT lamps I have). Thanks so much for the step-by-step instructions. My editing is not so good, so I could really use this. ☺

Mary

Thanks so much! This was very helpful.

Sonja Bailey

Shannon White

Great tips! Thank you!

fascinating. I use Adobe Photoshop Deluxe and have been using this program for about 10 years. Got it with one of my scanners. Have never upgraded. Love the way it functions.

Have tried Photoshop Elements & have to say I really don't like it and can't understand the hoopla about it.

But after this tutorial, I'm going to down load that Windows Live Photo Gallery software and see how it works. Sounds very interesting.
Thanks for taking the time to write about it.

yogi

good Lord, I just tried to download that program and already had it on my computer. Sheesh!! Who woulda thunk

Alison C

Thank you for the tutorial. I have a tip which I hope will be useful to you if you make some more tutorials like this one (and I hope you do because it was very clear and simple and very useful).I have recently been making user manuals which required screen shots and to get those pesky drop down menus to stay when you want to take a screen shot, I use the print screen button on the keyboard. Press "PrtScrn" button. Then in paint or some other program (it may work in windows live photo gallery) hit ctrl + v to paste in the print screen. Then you can crop the image to the size you want. Thanks again
Alison

I am very thankful for this post. I have been wondering how to edit without using Photoshop (too intimidating). This post explains so very nicely how to edit! I use poster board and Ott lights for photographing purposes also! ;-)
