I'd want to be outside too! Beautiful gardens and such a handsome pooch. Love you, Wally!

Glenda

There seems to be a quiet beauty here in East Tennessee this time of year. It's sort of like summer sighs and then gives over to Fall. It is a quiet time with foggy mornings and and gentle breezes. I too sigh in relief; our summer has been so terribly hot and now you can feel the change when you step outside. Have a great day, and hug Wally; he looks like he needs one!

Gabriela

Leslie - yours is the most beautiful garden I know! Simply exquisite.

Dotty A

Oh your garden is just lovely!!! and Wally is such a stricking young man too. Thanks so much for sharing these pics with us... they just make me smile!

Peggy K

Oh, Leslie, thanks for sharing your garden (and Wally) with us. I can feel the calm as if I was sitting there myself!

Tammy Hair

Oh wow Leslie, such serenity! No wonder you want to be there. But I'm with you, my favorite view is Wally, such sweetness.

Kelly Massman

What a beautiful garden and dog! Just came by to say hi, and thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! :-)

Debbie Pokerwinski

Greetings from Buffalo, NY! Thank you Leslie for offering us a peek into your world! As usual, the photos of your garden are spectacular...I'm sure it takes a lot of work to make it look so pretty. And Wally gets cuter every day! Thanks again for sharing! debbie

Frances

Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures and comments. I get a sense of happiness, peace and gentleness from looking at them. Who could ask for more?

Lynette

So peaceful and beautiful, Leslie! We would love to have our yard look like that, but unfortunately, neither I nor my husband like to do yardwork!

Colleen Dietrich

Simply beautiful, Leslie. :) THanks for sharing your paradise with us all!

yogi

lucky you - it's glorious.
Can't really complain about my section of the world though. Tempts are wonderful. My garden is past it's prime though, but I still enjoy sitting out there and having my supper or reading a book. Have a great day

We just returned from a trip to Seattle and the Oregon coast. Yes, it is beautiful like you said. Everything seems to grow over there, too. Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures. Are you located in the Northern Oregon coast? Fell in love with Astoria.

I will have to say it sure is Gorgeous, just gives you a relaxing feeling just looking at it, I don't blame you for wanting to spend all your time out there and with your favorite companion too :)

You've put in so much work to create such a beautiful space for yourselves - no wonder you want to be outside! Gorgeous Leslie :) And Wally's pretty cute too :)

nancy littrell

This truly is a gorgeous season for our beautiful part of the world. TFS your stunning gardens.

Nimue

Flowers are beautiful but Wally's still the best.

Paulette S

Green thumbs to go with your crafty ones as well I see. Wally is precious.

Alexandra

Your garden and flowers are gorgeous, the ginger "Wally flower" at the bottom is beautiful, but of course you know that. Enjoy the fresh air and lovely weather while you still can. Here in Scotland,(UK) our nights, and even through the day has been quite nippy lately, I've even noticed a few early Wally coloured leaves on the trees, lol

velta

There is nothing else to say about this post Leslie, except for "Awesome!" Thank you for sharing!!

Leigh

Beautiful garden. Love the close up photos Leslie and of course...Wally...a very handsome hound.

Sherri Dean

bensarmom

Leslie, this is just what I needed after my first long day back at work. We worked 12 hours today with Open House. Your gardens are refreshing and Wally is just so sweet. Would love to snuggle up with him and take a nap about now. Thanks for adding to me day.

Dawn Burnworth

This is amazing Leslie. I can see why you love the outdoors. I would live out there. Wally looks so sweet. Great pictures. Enjoy.

Heather

I am on my way over to sit and stare at your beutiful sourroundings. I LOVE to garden and here in the south it is nearly impossible. The clay they call soil is not very good for gardening. My plants look horrible no matter what I do. I just gave up. :(
Hugs~

Lenoria

These pictures are gorgeous! I think I could sit and thoroughly enjoy your garden also, makes me want to kick back and just listen to the stillness of nature. Wally looks peaceful and happy too.

Elaine Lisle

Could not agree with you more - August is a very special time in Oregon! Your garden is beautiful, full and lush. Enjoy your time in the garden!

Bev Gerard

Leslie, if I were to win a "prize package", it would "have to include" a visit to your gardens!! I am so serious .... just loving the view into your pics!

(((hugs))) from Texas,
Bev

Stacy aka Twinshappy

hee hee look at that face. He is so sweet Leslie. Oh I know he and Ranger would have so much fun together. Beautiful backyard, you enjoy that and relax. Hugs...

Susie

OMGosh! Look at these beautiful photographs. I enlarged the first one to take a closer look at the plants. Your Buddleia bush is really getting big and did you plant lobelia in the blue pot? Beautiful, just beautiful! Tending a garden allows us to create sanctuary. Is it any wonder our Lord spent so many hours praying in the garden - His creation all around.

It looks like Wally has been in the wading pool *laughing* What a sweet guy! I know the garden is a special place for him too.

Hugs,
Susie ~

P.s. When you have a chance read the book, From the Ground Up - The story of a first garden by Amy Stewart. You'll love it I promise.

Sue Kment

All your hard work really has paid off Leslie! What a wonderful place to sit and ponder!

Rose Ann

Your garden looks absolutely amazing, Leslie...and I have to say I agree with your favorite view. Melts my heart for sure!!
