Today, I have a quick card with most of the stamping on the inside. I thought I might use the elegant peacock from my Strut Your Stuff set with this, oh, so gorgeous paper, but somehow I couldn't settle on a design other than this. Too many other things calling for my attention, but I intended to have a bird card today, and this is my bird card:
It's very simple, using my Webster's Pages Hollywood Vogue and WonderFALL designer paper. Just a sentiment, ribbon and a rhinestone were added.
All the stamping is embossed. The sentiment on the inside is another from my Fiskars Birthday Quotes, which I purchased locally.
And now Wally is waiting for me to come and watch a movie with him, and who am I to say "no" to Wally? It's not so much the movie he's interested in as it is the treats that go with it. At movie time, they're called "best friend treats" -- little pieces of broken up dog biscuits. I say, "Are you my best friend?", and he says, "Oh, boy, movie time!" I get popcorn, he gets dog biscuits, but he thinks I'm eating the dog biscuits, too. Must run! Have a super nice day!
Stamps: Strut Your Stuff (Peacock from Flourishes), Fiskars Birthday Quotes (inside) Paper: Black textured, Pink Pirouette, Webster's Pages Hollywood Vogue and WonderFall designer paper, Classic Ivory (inside) Ink: Versamark Accessories: Ribbon, rhinestone, black embossing powder

Lovely.....Just lovely! My babies love popcorn and sometimes they get a bite or two and sometimes they get a bite of cheese. One of my yorkies is allergic to "everything" so I have to be really particular about reading labels.

It's absolutely gorgeous Leslie! I love pink . . . this card is just "smashing" in my book! Since the boys are both home we've been watching movies nearly every night . . . Baxter is terribly spoiled, he's getting the popcorn . . . LOL! Breaking up the dog biscuits sounds like a great idea, will have to do that! Hugs!!!

Oh, Leslie, you made me chuckle with your Wally story! I am a sucker for anything animals. :)
I LOVE that card; I do love Webster's Pages images, and bought some paper before Christmas, but haven't pulled it out yet to use. Good for you to cut into some!
And thanks for the congrats on my Private Blend appointment at Play Date Cafe - it really warmed my heart that you stopped by to tell me so.

Oh, gee, we give Olivia a few popcorn bites. Can't refuse those big brown eyes. Very elegant and beautiful card. Happy New Year to you!

Absolutely love your card and Webster Pages. That very pack was part of my Christmas present! (Insert very happy faces here!!!) Stunning creation! So pretty.
Speaking of happy faces... I just noticed that sidebar that you've been published. Congratulations!!!!
Also love the Wally monologue. My DH has entire conversations with our pooch, in which he answers back for her in a high pitched voice. Mostly she says "I need treatzzz; more treatzzz". It's so cute. But alas our pooch belongs to our DD and they have moved to Ottawa so I miss her and throwing her popcorn during movies.

Gorgeous card Leslie...You SO remind me of myself with my "Piper." Usually I give her thin slices of balogna and cheese when we watch movies while I have popcorn. What a wonderful way to celebrate. Piper loves it...wonder why?

Beautiful! I LOVE your classy presentation and the peacock is beautiful! The sentiment about age...I love it. I'm going to have to hunt that down.

How gorgeous is this! Love the lettering of the sentiment; saying itself is so wise!
Happy New Year to you and family, Leslie!

Oooh, this is so vintage pretty! Love the pink and black combo. You had me going there with that little peacock, because it's not an image in the stamp set. I finally checked that lovely designer paper and there it was! Also, I see some pretty ribbon is back on this card. Linda
