We’re back around to that time of the month again when Flourishes presents its monthly challenge prior to the debut of new stamp sets. This month the only stipulation is that you use blue and yellow on your card. We’re celebrating the blue skies and sunshine of summer, though in these parts for the last three weeks a more fitting color challenge would be gray and darker gray with all the rain we’re having. It's absolutely pouring outside right now!
The first things that came to mind for this color challenge were flowers and lemons but, as you can see, I decided to do something other than a botanical card today. My little yellow teapot with matching cup is one of the Let’s Have Tea images I hadn’t used yet so I decided to give it a whirl. I colored with Copics and pieced together some of my BasicGrey Urban prairie papers which accommodate the blue and yellow theme. The “sweet” is a word from Let Them Eat Cake.

Leslie this is perfect! What a darling card and superb use of that Urban Prairie DP. That decorative edge punched piece adds the perfect highlight. I love the way you grounded the teacup.

This is beautiful Leslie.. I love tea and you used my favorite paper. It is either rainy here or so hot you can't be outside.. I am ready for some nice weather.. Great job with this challenge..
