It's the last Monday of the month and time for me to put away the Running Rhino. I really enjoyed the time I spent working with these stamps, and I'm sorry I'm unable to say where they can be found for purchase. They simply aren't available, and I'm not sure many folks were interested at any rate... I do appreciate your tolerance of "the other Leslie" -- the one who loves these rich colors and folksy designs.
This type of image is very well suited for coloring with alcohol markers, in this case Copics. The last time I used these stamps I did all the coloring with Prismacolor pencils, using the white pencil for blending. Very time consuming, but still a nice result. After I colored this image I was in a hurry to put the card together so I simply matched the blue (SU! Blue Bayou) and stitched on a Vanilla mat. A busy image like this is better off without too much else going on around it, I think. Just a little grouping of buttons and it's done.
A note of interest: If you've picked up Paper Crafts' new Stamp It Cards issue, you might have spotted a few Flourishes beauties on the pages inside. Former Friends of Flourishes team member Kimberly Crawford has two gorgeous creations using the Cherries and Peaches set as well as Life, Love and Lemons set (Pages 17 & 19). To celebrate the new issue, the magazine is shining the spotlight on some of their contributors. Today it's Kimberly's turn! Head on over to Paper Crafts Connection to see her fabulous creation and you'll have a shot at winning one of the three Cherries and Peaches stamp sets they're giving away! ---> Paper Crafts Connection
Thank you for your time today! Have a great day!

I love the colors in this, Leslie. This is probably my favorite of the Running Rhino cards. This one would be great framed and hung on a wall. Enjoyed your Wally post yesterday. My, he's gotten big, but still has that puppy face. You can tell he's very loved. Happy Monday!

I love your RR cards! They are simply gorgeous! I have an longstanding eBay search for anything Running Rhino as I think that may be the only way to find them aside from running across someone willing to part with theirs at a garage or estate sale. ~chris

I have so enjoyed seeing the cards you've made with the Running Rhino stamps - it's hard to understand why they stopped making these wonderful images.

Another leslierich coloring extravaganza! Love the buttons and sewing touches. These stamps make such quaint, charming cards. I've never seen anything quite like them, so I can understand why you're keeping them. Linda
