When I sorted my SU! sets recently, there were a good many boxed up to make room for all the new stamps I hope to purchase (all in good time). A few special or particularly useful sets remained on the shelves, and Toile Blossoms was one of them.
Stella's card is relatively unadorned today, save for the ribbon and stitching -- just soft and sweet, like Stella, herself. I watercolored the image with Stampin' Up! inks. The oval was stamped with the SU! Sanded background before adding the Flourishes sentiment in Chocolate Chip.
It's a short post today, but I hope you enjoy the card. Thank you so much for your time. Take care, and have a very Ruby Tuesday!
Stamps: Toile Blossoms, Sanded (both SU!), Thinking of You (Flourishes) Paper: Prism Suede Brown Light, So Saffron, watercolor, Neenah Classic Solar White, BasicGrey Stella Ruby designer paper Ink: Palette Umber, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Sage Shadow, Handsome Hunter Accessories: Ribbon, SU! large oval punch, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

Love the image and it's beautifully coloured. Lovely card.

This is a very pretty card! I like the way you coloured around the image. I smile when you describe Stella the way you do.... I always think of her as strong and bold. I love the striped one and the reddish background one.... but you've done soft and sweet just beautifully!! TFS

Gorgeous card. I was wondering how you do the color on the outer rim of the image. I tried it with a very light gray and it looks atrocious. Is it more than one color with the lightest color being on the outside? I tried using the blender pen to remove some of the color, but it just looks so-so.
thanks!

What beautiful coloring on this sprig of flowers, Leslie. So glad you decided to keep Toile Blossoms. It was on my list of "wants" for a long time, but now I have amassed so many stamps that I don't even actively seek this one out anymore! I still love it though.
